Man On The Street and interviews with “people like you” were popular on radio in the 1940s. KOMO offered this program broadcast from various homes in Seattle. Something for the housewives to listen to and learn from with household tips offered by “ladies like you”. Imagine your little Dottie, in pearls and her apron, slaving happily over the ironing and laundry, listening to other happy women, sharing stories of their wonderful home life. Ahhhh, life was good back in those days!
