KMPS Format Change Imminent?

Entercom took control of the CBS Radio stations in Seattle and immediately flipped 94.1 KMPS to All-Christmas music. Most observers see this as meaning a format change will happen after the holiday.
There are many stations to keep an eye on. Format changes could happen at 102.9 (iHeart) and 104.9 (iHeart) as these stations will be sold off.
Also, watch what happens at KJAQ 96.5 (iHeart), or 102.5 KZOK (iHeart).
Anything is possible!
Some radio station websites are now being moved to new addresses.
Deanna Lee, jock at KMPS, denies the rumors: Hey 941Family, please listen to me and not the fake rumors people are spreading about KMPS. ❤️The only thing coming to an end is our #CBSRadioFamily. This group of radio veterans made my life at CBS a delight every single day! We worked hard together, won together, and loved each other! Many of the people… will go to work for iHeartMedia. So I will not have the pleasure of seeing them daily. The CBS/Entercom merger will leave some … looking for new opportunities, and all of them are highly skilled and are valuable assets to anyone who is lucky enough to hire them. As for the #941 on air staff, promotions, and production crew, we are moving to Entercom. We are all still here. None of us lost our jobs. We weren’t fired. So please take a breathe, and let me share that KMPS will always be Country! We are just shaking things up a bit with Christmas music. 🎄 After the holidays, we will have a KMPS that you will recognize and love!
