KKWF “THE WOLF” FM 100.7 brings on Matt McAllister from Buck Owens’ KNIX/Phoenix. Of course, Buck is no longer with us, neither is FITZ who McAllister replaces. Fitz left KKWF in April in order to spend more time with family…Is Nothing Sacred? These low-power radio station licesnses are being passed out to any Tom, Dick or Marvin. KQWZ-LP/SeaTac, is owned by WEAREONEAMERICA dba ONEAMERICA. It’s a bleeding heart Liberal organization. (Hakuna Matata, to you!) Good thing the station is LOW POWER and at 106.5 FM, won’t interfere with either my Jazz & Blues station or my News/Talk station…Another low-power station is in the vicinity east of Beacon Hill and west of Mount Baker, which is called Rainier Valley. KVRU launches at 7am October 5th at 105.7 FM. It doesn’t appear that this station will interfere with any other station in the Puget Sound area…But there is one low-power station which may directly interfere with reception of KUBE FM in an area of Seattle. KHUH-LP at 104.9 FM is owned by Hollow Earth Radio…Well, Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad… Citing age discrimination, longtime KOMO personality Tracy Vedder is suing Sinclair which canned her shortly after her contract was extended into 2018. When we use the word “longtime” in mentioning some, it is likely they are OLD. Vedder also claims gender discrimination. For Crying Out Loud! Might as well use all the ammunition. Now, if she can prove she is 1/4 Native American she will have no problem winning her case…Singer/actor Meat Loaf is 70 today.
