The Sunday Jazz show on K-ZAM was excellent & each air personality brought a different flavour to the show each week. It’s been 33 years since the demise of KZAM & I still to this day lament that there isn’t a music station devoted to eclectic/non-mainstream tastes such as mine. Yes, I know the obvious answer. However, for the eight years of it’s existence, I might as well have ripped the tuning knobs off of my home receiver. KEZX came very close to becoming a replacement, but still avoided harder rocking songs & artists that K-ZAM played. KMTT “The Mountain” was a very watered down attempt to recreate these two trail-blazing broadcasters.
