Radio fashion news

VICTOR STREDICKE/October 12th 1975 – Make no mistake about it, the fashion world is atwitter over the impact of radio stations in the Pacific Northwest. This season saw a sprightly array of cotton and polyester blends adorning bodies of the area’s most fashion-conscious. Exclusivity was the watchword in many cases since the limited editions of t-shirts usually end up with station employees or listeners who participated in station promotions from picnics to dance marathons to tricycle racing. The 92 KZAM t-shirt came out in a first edition, 2nd edition and 3rd edition. The KING t-shirts came out in two colors and lengths. The original KJR shirt had a print run of 18 but has since been reprinted under franchise to a clothing shop The KISW shirt got the greatest exposure, 12000 of them were sold at an area department store.
