Station & FM translator purchases

Alexandra Communications has picked up KMBI Spokane from Moody Bible Institute for $100,000. Alexandra Communications owns several radio stations, including KUJ in Walla Walla. Alexandra Communications has sold translator K262CJ Pendleton, Oregon to Skotdal’s CAAM Partnership LLC for $35,000. Skotdal plans to rebroadcast Snohomish AM KKXA. At the same time Skotdal’s S-R Broadcasting has purchased K290AX of Sweet Home, Oregon from Gospel Echo, Inc. Skotdal plans to rebroadcast Everett’s KRKO…1560 Pacific’s KZIZ/XL Media purchased Jacobs Radio Programming’s K263BZ Richland, Wa., for $50,000 and will rebroadcast the KZIZ Southeast Asian fare.

    Congratulations to indie broadcaster Andy Skotdal for picking up 2 new translators at reasonable prices – one for Classic Country (K)KXA the other for sports KRKO. Although lower powered, these will certainly enhance listenership to both operations in Snohomish Co.
